Where it began
In 2021, my mother suffered a stroke. She went one hundred percent bedridden, and I became her full-time caregiver, with my daughter right there beside me as my sidekick, while we still tried to manage our own lives.
Life did not stop because we became caregivers.
We depended on organization to keep our lives running smoothly. Systems were not a nice idea anymore. They were how we survived that season, how we stayed on our feet for her and for everyone who needed us. Years later, we are reiterating those same systems, not because we are in survival mode, but because we are choosing to reset and run our lives well on purpose.
We learned something important. A beautiful life does not happen because everything is perfect. It happens when you create systems that help you care for what matters.
We began finding ways to organize our responsibilities while still making room for ourselves. And because we are naturally creative women who love planners, stationery, arts and crafts, themed organization, and changing things up throughout the year, organization became something we could actually enjoy.
Ashanti is my middle name. Amillia is my daughter's. Two names stitched into one dream, because that is exactly what this brand is. We have always loved holidays, organization, self-care, prayer journals, and changing up our themes throughout the year, and somewhere along the way we realized that if it helped us, it could help other women too.
I am the CEO. I am a caregiver. A mom. A household manager. An entrepreneur building products. To keep it all balanced, I have to have a system.
This is that system.
Eventually we realized we were not just planning our days. We were learning how to run our lives.
